Less than two weeks until Father’s Day!
Do you have a gift yet?
Well, you are in luck. I seem to always get terrific handmade gifts on Mother’s Day but seldom do I have the kids create something thoughtful for their dad. But this year I am so on top of it. We worked on this project together over a few days but you can pull if off in one day if you hustle!
You can create some art for Father’s Day–simple, meaningful and a little funny. And since you have a tad bit more than a week to get ready for it, you and your children should be able to get to work and have some special masterpieces to share by June 19th!
This is a mixed media collage project. That’s just a fancy way of saying taking more than one form of art, in this case, painting, paper cutting and photography and putting it all together in collage form.
Rad Art for Dad: Mustache Mixed Media Collage

Assemble tools and snap a few pictures of your kids, alone or in a group.
Viola! A one of a kind handmade gift for the one of kind dad in your life!
[Don’t forget to label the masterpiece with a date on the back of canvas.]
